Buying Gold Bars

Talavest gold bars come in weights from half a gram to one kilogram, at 995 fineness (24-carat gold).

What 995 fineness means

995 fineness means at least 995 parts in every thousand of the bar's weight are pure gold. In the market this is known as 24-carat gold, which is different from 18-carat jewellery gold (750). That is why the price per gram of a bar cannot be compared directly with the price per gram of 18-carat gold.

Talavest gold bars are made in 0.5, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250 and 500 grams, 1 kilogram and 1 ounce. Live stock for each weight is shown on its product card.
